Today I took the kids to the Natural History Museum. They had so much fun. After watching Night at the Museum it made it even more exciting. Outside they had the Pavilion Of Wings. There were so many butterflies inside. They landed all over us.
We are just putting the final touches on the boys room. I made these pictures from an old golden book to spell out Ashers name. The picture of the fish is a pastel that Riley made at art class.
Here we are already at 36 weeks. The baby is getting really big so hopefully they will induce me around the 27th of this month, but we will just have to see.
Ever since I found out that I was pregnant I told the kids that they could paint my belly when it got big. They have asked almost every day for the last nine months if it was big enough yet. So they were so happy to find out that the day had come. Then I let them take the pictures. Riley did the rainbow and Baylee did the picture of her holding Asher. She is always saying that she wants to be in my belly to so she can hold him.
Here we are in Virginia City just outside of Reno. It is an old western mining town. We went on a train ride to the old mines and took a tour through a silver mine.
We went on a summer road trip to see my parents and nieces in Reno. I would not advise traveling that far at 34 weeks pregnant. Sitting in the car for 8 hours was not to easy especially on the ankles. These pictures are of a stop that we made at Walker River. It was so pretty from the road that we had to take a break and check it out.
Here is a picture of my parents new home in Sparks, Nevada. We went up to visit them last week. On our final day there they finally got to move some stuff in. It is a huge beautiful home and the neighborhood and views are gorgeous. We can't wait to visit again.
My parents moved out of there house after 34 years. It was sad to see them go and we are going to miss them every day, but we are happy for them in their new beautiful home.
Here are some pic from the baby shower that my mom and Alice gave me. We all had a really great time. This is the quilt that my mom made for Asher. He is going to love it.
Here are some pics from the big birthday party for the kids. They turned 5 and 7. We had all together 67 people. It was a bit crazy but the kids had lots of fun.
