Spring Break

For Spring Break the kids and I flew up to Reno to visit Nana and Papa. Daddy had to stay home and we all missed him a lot. We had a great time. Our favorite part was horseback riding at lake Tahoe. The kids all loved the airplane ride and Asher was a perfect little guy the whole way.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to all our family and friends. We all had a really great day together seeing what the Easter Bunny brought us, going out to brunch, hunting for eggs and swimming. Yes the kids just could not wait to jump in the pool. It was a really hot day so they enjoyed a swim. Asher did great at brunch. I was a little worried because most times eating out is not so much fun for him, or I. But we could sit outside and we were right next to a fountain that had lots of ducks to look at. It was a huge buffet with everything you could ever want, from crab to waffles, to salmon, and plenty of candy, ice cream, cookies and cakes. Hope everyone enjoyed the day and Happy Spring!!!!!!!!

Happy Half Birthday To Asher

Today is Asher's six month birthday. We celebrated with lemon cake, which got kind of stuck in the bunt pan (that's what I get for doing the low fat recipe). But it tasted really good. Asher is doing great. We go to the doctor next week so I will know his stats then. He seems huge to me. He still isn't sitting up yet but I think soon. He is taking wonderful naps and goes to bed without a problem. His best time is in the morning, he is so happy and easy going then. I think he is going to be a wonderful morning boy just like his big brother.

Ski School

During our winter vacation we went skiing. ( a special gift from Nana and Papa). Baylee, Riley, Emily and Rebecca all took a ski class and learned to ski. They all had so much fun. Thank you Nana and Papa.

Santa

Asher was the only one willing to get his picture taken with Santa this year. I guess he really had no choice in the matter. He loved sitting on Santa's lap and gave him a couple big smiles. I am sure that he is on the nice list.

Asher Dines In

Asher had his first try at rice cereal tonight. I think he liked it. After he finished a couple of bites he had a little milk then went right to sleep. It seemed to be a deep slumber or maybe I am just imagining things. We will see how long he actually sleeps tonight.

While we were in San Diego we got to see Rylen. Isn't she just sooo cute. Sorry about Asher giving the camera the bird but he just didn't want any more pics while he was hanging out with his new girl.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We went to San Diego to visit Grandma, Auntie, Uncle and the cousins. We all had a really great time playing at grandmas house filled with toys and on our favorite playground in her backyard.

Baylee has finished her first quilt

Baylee has just finished her first quilt. She is so proud of herself she can hardly stand it. She made it for her little brother Asher. He loves it even more.

Halloween

The kids had a really fun Halloween this year. They had a parade and carnival at school and later that night they went trick or treating. Riley was "Mike" for about one hour, but he was to embarrassed to keep the costume on. He looked so cute in it I really wanted him to keep it on but that wasn't going to happen. Later that night he went out as a red power ranger. Thanks to Nana and Disney we have a large selection of costumes on hand. Baylee was a monkey and Asher wore the frog costume that was passed down by Baylee and Riley.

Student Of The Month

This month Riley was awarded student of the month. We are so proud of him. He is doing really well in kindergarten, and he loves school.

Ashers First Trip To Disneyland

Here is Asher on his first trip to Disneyland. I forgot my camera so this is all we could get with our cell phone. He was looking so cute in his new ears, I was really wanting to get lots of cute pics.

Sewing Classes

Baylee has been taking sewing classes with her new sewing machine that Nana gave her for her birthday. She loves to sew. Her newest project is a quilt for Asher. She is using a new sock monkey pattern. We will post more pics when she is finished.
