Here are a couple of the new shirts that I have been working on. I love to make them. Actually I have been working with felt lately and it has been so much fun. I can't believe all the things you can make with it. I have been debating again on whether to put the shirts back up again on my website, but for now I have received so many orders from people in public that see Asher wearing his shirts. It think I need to start paying my model. So if you see something you like or have anything in mind that you would like me to make, just let me know.

Happy Halloween
Today is FINALLY Halloween. The kids have been asking when it is coming for the last four weeks. They are so excited today. Yesterday at school they wore there costumes for the Halloween parade which all the parents come to watch. They all looked so cute. This year Riley is Indiana Jones, Baylee is Supergirl and Asher is a penguin (unless it stays this hot then he will wear his ninja costume). We have two parties to go to today and then Jeff will take them out trick or treating. I will post pics soon.
* Last night we carved pumpkins. The scary monster is Riley's and the "bonehead" is Baylee's which she carved 100% by herself. She was so proud. They used these cute little patterns that make the best jack o lanterns and they are really easy to do.
Baby Shower
My wonderful friend Sonia along with the help of many great freinds from our school gave Lorelei a baby shower. We a great time talking, playing games, laughing our heads off, and eating lots and lots of scrumptious food. My friend Stef made this beautiful and very tasty cake. I now have so many cute outfits for Lorelei to wear. I can't wait to see her in them.

What we have been up to
Wow, I really haven't been taking any pictures lately. Or maybe I have some on one of my many SD cards. I feel like it is so hard to keep track of everything these days. Days that I feel so overwhelmed I think to myself, what am I going to do when an infant get added to this crazy mix. Sometimes it is a scary thought. I guess it just all works out in the end. We are all really excited to meet our little girl but a couple more months of preparation is going to be good. So what have we been up to lately? Asher has made the transition to the big boy bed. He now sleeps on the bottom bunk. He loves his new bed and the transition was a breeze. He actually asks some days to take a nap. At night he sometimes says " I so tired now". Baylee has been really busy with school, sewing and a photo image class at the art center. She is making her third quilt, this one is for her little sister. Riley has also been busy with school, ceramics at the art center and he just joined Cub Scouts with Jeff. He was really hesitant about joining but after his first meeting he was really excited. As for myself I had the flu last week and finally feel like I am getting better. It is so hard to be a mother of three and be pregnant and have the flu. It just kills all your energy. Jeff helped me out a bunch during my roughest days. Thank God for good husband and fathers. Besides being sick, I have been really busy with fund raising for the school, designing some glass tile pendants for my shop and a little sewing. Hope all is well with you!!!!

Lake Tahoe
Here are a couple more pics from our trip. This one is of our day trip to Lake Tahoe. Jeff and I took the kids and my nieces Emily and Rebecca. It was such a beautiful day and the water was so nice (cold, but still nice). I love lake Tahoe. The water is such an incredible shade of blue it amazes you. Hopefully we can make it there at least once a year.

Station Fire

Here are a couple pics of the Station Fire that is in my hometown of La Crescenta. We now live 11 miles south so we are not in harms way but our thoughts go out to those that are. The smoke has been our only problem especially for the kids. They have to stay indoors at almost all times. That is getting pretty hard on the teachers at school. We can see the flames from our bedroom window and the plume of smoke is amazing. Hopefully they will get a hold on it soon although they are saying in may take another week or so. The first picture was taken from my old high school softball field and looks upon Prospect ave. the street I grew up on (one block away).

Our 11th anniversary
Last month was our 11th anniversary. It is also the same day as Asher's birthday. So two years ago we didn't celebrate because I was obviously giving birth, and last year was his first birthday party so we didn't get out then. This year we made up for it. A little late but better than not. We went to Squaw Valley while my parents watched the kids at their house in Reno. We stayed at the Resort at Squaw Creek. It was beautiful. The pool had this great water slide that I wish the kids could have gone down. It is sometimes so hard for me to enjoy myself without the kids when all I do is think "they would love this". Although don't get me wrong, we did enjoy the peace. Our room was really nice. They upgraded us to a suite because of construction going on in our first room. They also sent a big basket full of chocolate, cheese, crackers, candy, a bottle of pellegrino, etc. and a card wishing us a happy anniversary. In the morning we rode the gondola up to the top of the mountain and enjoyed the High Camp. They have a huge pool and jacuzzi s, along with a year round ice skating rink and hiking. We had a great day up there. Then it was time to come back to reality. The kids were happy to see us again and we promissed next time they can come along.

First Day Of School
Today was the first day of school. Riley is now in 2nd grade and Baylee is in 4th. We woke up to an extremely smokey sky due to a forest fire in our local mountains. The air was hard to breathe. They were not allowed outside for recess so they had indoor play time. It was actually really nice for them to stay in the air conditioning because temps were in the 100's. When I arrived after school to pick them up they were both in high spirits. They really like their new teachers and having most of their good friends in their classes. I think this year is going to be great!

Walker River
Last week we took a trip to visit family up in Reno. Here are a couple pics of one of our favorite stops off of highway 395 the Walker River. It is such a beautiful area and the kids love playing around in the cold water. The Pic of me is when I was 16 weeks pregnant. When I was that far along with Baylee I wasn't even showing yet. Funny how it all just falls out by your fourth. Scary to think of what I might look like at 40 weeks.
